After you have a chuckle about the title, please know that this is a website that is devoted to interests of both the head and the h(e)art. As a literature professor for many years, I discovered that medieval writers and painters wanted their artworks to excel at both sentence (pronounced san - tance)—referring to the meaning of the work—and solace (pronounced so - las)—referring to the pleasure of the work. One radio station that I listen to occasionally speaks of providing its audience with both “entertainment and enlightenment.” Several hundred years apart, both are talking about the same thing: head and heart.
So I hope, in the various offerings that are posted here, to make you think. And occasionally to allow you to laugh or cry.
